This month, we are showcasing our gorgeous Luxe Bride Gabi and her husband, Will. They were married on March 7th, 2025, at Snø Hill Chapel in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, where they celebrated with friends, family, and their sweet pups! Read on to hear more about their incredible wedding.

Tell us about the proposal!

My husband and I had been talking about getting married for a while. We’d been together for about two years and knew this was our forever. We even picked out my ring together, so I knew a proposal was coming… just not when! He still managed to completely surprise me. Knowing how anxious I get when all the attention is on me, and how much of a homebody I am, he planned something that was so perfectly us.

On November 11th, 2024, I was getting ready for the day when he kept asking me to come outside. It was cold out, and I was honestly starting to get annoyed, but he insisted I had to come see our dogs. When I finally stepped outside, I saw he had raked the backyard leaves to spell out “Marry Me?” With our dogs wrestling in the background, he got down on one knee. From there, it’s honestly a blur… but I said YES!

He even planned a surprise Zoom call with my family afterward so we could celebrate together. It was so intimate and thoughtful, everything I could’ve hoped for.

Describe your bridal style. How did you want to look on your wedding day? Tell us about your dress-shopping experience.

A few years ago, I worked at a bridal shop, and we were always trying on dresses and dreaming of the day we’d find the one. Luxe Bridal was a favorite of ours. We would gush over their gowns and talk about shopping there one day. So when it was finally my turn, I knew exactly where I wanted to go!

I brought my mom and two bridesmaids with me to my appointment. Everyone knows I’m a simple girl at heart, minimalist with a timeless twist. I had an open mind, but my Pinterest board was full of satin A-lines with long sleeves.

I worked with Suzanne at Luxe, and she was incredible. She was so knowledgeable and confident in finding me a dress, even with my wedding date approaching quickly. She pulled a gown that stopped me in my tracks. It was the first dress I tried on, and of course, it was a satin A-line! She even found detachable sleeves that a tailor could add to complete the look. To top it off, the dress was on sale, and I got to take it home the same day. It felt like fate.

The entire Luxe team made me feel so seen and celebrated. I didn’t feel like just another customer; they truly cared about making sure I felt confident and beautiful.

Tell us more about your wedding. What was your theme and color scheme? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story?

Our wedding was truly a dream come true. With only three months to plan, we poured our hearts into making every detail meaningful. I had reached out to our photographer, Sigrid, and told her we were searching for a charming little chapel, something with character, but every one we found felt outdated or rundown.

That’s when she told us about her friend Sarah Ball, who had recently purchased a historic chapel just outside Red Wing, MN. It was built in the 1800s and was in the early stages of restoration. Even with construction still underway, we knew it was the place the moment we stepped inside.

As we got to know Sarah, we learned that she and her husband planned to use the chapel for their marriage ministry and women’s retreats, and that wedding bookings would help fund their mission. It felt like such a divine alignment. When she offered to have us be the first couple to get married in their space. We were blown away.

The theme of our wedding was romantic and timeless. Our color palette included cabernet, black, and white, and we prayed hard for a snowy winter backdrop. Sure enough, the day before the wedding, we got the most beautiful snowfall, just enough time for the roads to be cleared so our loved ones could travel safely.

After the ceremony, our family and friends went downstairs to the chapel’s newly renovated basement for cocktail hour. It had been transformed into a cozy, speakeasy-style lounge with a bar. It was such a fun and unexpected space! Meanwhile, the amazing team flipped the sanctuary upstairs into our reception space. They created a magical, gathering-style dinner using the original pews for seating, with long tables running down the middle. It truly felt like a scene out of a movie. The whole room glowed with warmth, intimacy, and so much love.

Sarah and her sister-in-law, Hailey, styled everything beyond what we ever imagined. And yes, our dogs got to be there too. We couldn’t picture the day without them!

What was the most special memory from the day?

There were so many unforgettable moments, but our first look was especially meaningful. The morning had been a bit hectic, but the second we saw each other, everything slowed down. I felt a deep sense of peace settle over me.

We took a quiet moment to soak it all in, just the two of us. He prayed over our marriage, and that time together gave us the grounding we needed to fully embrace the day. From there, we relaxed, laughed with our bridal party, and stepped into the most joyful celebration of our lives.
