Luxe Bride of the Month: Hayley

Luxe Bride of the Month: Hayley

This month we are showcasing our beautiful Luxe Bride Hayley and her husband Jesse. Hayley and Jessie were married in October of 2023 at Falconwood Park in Bellevue, NE in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their friends and family! Here is their story including Hayley’s journeys to becoming a Luxe Bride!

Tell us about your proposal!

Jesse proposed to me in Midtown Crossing, in Omaha NE on December 22, 2021. We went to Helzberg in November of 2021 to find my ring size because I wasn't sure what it was. When we were there I tried on a few rings just for fun. We tried the one he proposed to me with and it was gorgeous. I never thought in a million years he would go back the NEXT day and get it, sneaky lil guy. I had no idea. I did have a feeling when we got closer, the reservation at my favorite restaurant with his family and getting my nails done with his mom and sister a few days prior really gave me a solid feeling. We had dinner, and went for a walk after to see the beautiful lit Christmas trees in the garden area. He made the cutest/cheesiest speech ever and popped the question. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It was perfect. Afterwards I thought we were just headed home but he surprised me with my entire family, my best friend (and maid of honor Bri) at our local bar. It. Was. Amazing.

Describe your bridal style and tell us about your dress shopping experience! Did you leave with the gown you envisioned yourself in, or something different?

I was really going for a dark enchanted, fairytale, renaissance style vibe with the fall/jewel tones. Suzanne helped me with my appointment and she really showed out. She was so helpful, kind, and relatable. She made the entire experience so special, I went in to try on the Adele gown. I love a good artistic gown, something you’ve never seen before. Suzanne said that they just got a new dress the day before I had my appointment that would be perfect that no one had tried on yet. It was the first dress I tried on and the dress I left with. The fabric is so soft and it just looked like it was made so elegantly, I really thought I was looking for something with a matte lace but the buttery fabric and the way it just flowed off my waist was a DREAM.

Tell us more about your wedding. What was your theme and color scheme? What were your flowers? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story?

Our theme was a rustic, enchanted, jewel tone wedding. If you envision a hobbit wedding meets enchanted fairy with a sprinkle of quirk that’s it!! I think it really came out exceptionally for what we envisioned. I have a niche for color, and a lot of it. I didn’t want to just use a few colors, I think we had every kind of color I could think of that would look good together and it really did. I had a bunch of different flowers, dahlias and ranunculus were the mains, I gave the florist freedom to add what would look good with the different textures and colors and she really nailed it. They were beautiful. Jesse and I are very easy going people, we love the outdoors, we love camping, we’re very simple. I love having fun with color and painting so I really wanted something enchanting, colorful and unique. Jesse is very woodsy, Nordic and silly. We just wanted to have a ton of fun with it to make it really Jesse and Hayley.

What was the most special memory from the day?

My favorite memory of the day (even though it’s hard to choose because I have a lot) is having a moment of peace right after our couple’s pictures. Just us. Soaking it all up in the back of the hall, listening to everyone get their evenings started with drinks and snacks. The kids were running around and playing in their Halloween costumes, the music was echoing in the wood. It was perfect. Truly enchanting. Jesse’s favorite memory is when we had our last dance of the evening on the dance floor. Our DJ, Brandon, pulled us out on the floor for the last song of the night and we danced one last time to close the dance floor for the night. It was perfect, just us, soaking every last drop up before we called it a night.
